Would someone be able to explain this problem please? Thanks!

Students should detail what steps they have already taken or ask a more specific question about the problem instead of asking for a solution. Please also include the entire problem in your question for future posts. Think about how many different positions each molecule could take on, ie how many different ways you could rotate each one and get something that looks different. The one with a greater number of different positions has greater residual entropy

More positions (more ways that the molecule can be disordered) means the system has more residual enthalpy, which can help determine the results for this.
