Using standard reduction

Hi,

How do you calculate which reagent would best oxidize using standard reduction potentials? I understand you do some comparison but I'm not sure what? I'd really appreciate the help, thank you!

The best oxidizing is standard reduction potential which is the greatest, or most positive.
Since your equation is:
Ecell=Ecathode-Eanode

And the cathode is doing the oxidizing, so the greatest value would allow for Ecell to remain positive.

To determine which reagent best oxidizes, compare their standard reduction potentials. The reagent with the more positive potential oxidizes, while the one with the more negative potential reduces.

The regent with the most positive standard reduction potential would oxidize the best
