E cell potiential

can someone clarify in the formula to calculate the cell potential the value we use for moles in the equation is the value for the electrons when balancing the reaction

cant confirm but I want to say yes. in lecture dr lavelle said its the balancing coefficient of both the reduction and oxidation half reactions, and that they are they same number. makes sense because electrons are conserved in redox rxns

Yes, n is referring to the number of moles of electrons transferred in the redox reaction, and this number can be found in the balanced equation.
