Inert Conductors

Are there other inert conductors, other than platinum that we should familiarize ourselves with for this class?

Not really. Platinum is usually the go-to one, at least for this course. That being said, remember that other solid metals can serve as conductors too, along with the special case of liquid mercury. Only use platinum when nothing else can serve as a conductor.

A secondary inert conductor that shows up in the HW for ch 14 fairly often is graphite, or C(s), which would also be good to familiarize yourself with.
