you have to use delta G naught = -nFE for each step because you can't just add up the Es. when you get the final delta G, convert it back to E.

you use the deltaG=-nFE equation.
Fe2+ + e- -> Fe2+ deltaG1 = -(1)(F)(0.77)
Fe2+ + 2e- => Fe(s) deltaG2 = -(2)(F)(-0.44)
Add them up, then solve for E.
deltaG1+deltaG2 = -(3)(F)(E).
Which is -0.037 V.
