How can you identify the species that are being oxidized or reduced?

When you add the electrons to the right side, I believe it will be reduction and electrons to the left of the arrow is oxidation.

Oxidized species are losing electrons and their charge is becoming more positive.
Reduced species are gaining electrons and their charge is becoming more negative.
