Order in Cell diagrams

Does the order other than anode, cathode matter in cell diagrams? Such as the state or something?

Cell diagrams are anode|| cathode. In the anode and the cathode, the metal conductor is the outermost, aqueous solutions are nearest to the salt bridge (denoted by ||) and if there is a change in phase for different compounds | is used. If they are in the same phase a comma is used instead.

The order is usually like the following: (s)|(g)|(aq),(aq)||(aq),(aq)|(g)|(s). Liquids aren't included.

it is always anode then cathode. According to Dr Lavelle, we have to also put states in the following manner- solids on the outside and aqueous in the middle.
