Acidic conditions

How is balancing any different if there are acidic conditions (asking on question 3b in Lyndon’s Pork Ramen review)

Acidic: If you are balancing in an acidic solution you would use H2O to balance the O and balance H by using H+.
Basic: If you are balancing in a basic solution use H2O to balance the O, balance H by using H2O to side of reaction that needs H and Add OH- to other side

Just remember that for acidic conditions you are adding H2O to whichever side needs to balance Oxygens and H+'s typically to the other. You do the same thing with basic solutions but with OH- and H2O
