You should balance the oxygens first with H2O, and then the hydrogens with H+.

I usually balance the Hydrogens based off Oxygens, so I guess you could say balance O2 first then H+

You can balance the O atoms first with H2O, then balance the H atoms using H+.

I usually balance the O first using H2O and then balance the H using H+ afterwards

But you should be careful of whether they're asking you to balance the equation in acidic or basic conditions because the way you balance H is different for both conditions

Start off by balancing the oxygen atoms by using H20. From there depending on the pH, you use H+ for acidic solutions and OH^- for basic solutions to balance out the Hydrogens.
