Quantum World - Light

A lamp rated at 40. W emits blue light at wavelength 470 nm. How many photons of blue light can the lamp generate in 2.0 s? How many moles of photons are emitted in that time interval?

Etotal=W=p*t=40w*2.0s=80J
Ephoton=hc/λ
number of photon=Etotal/Ephoton
n(amount in mole)=number of photon/Avogado's constant
