Amplitude versus wavelength

In relation to page 39 of the course reader, if the wavelength is longer am i correct in saying the frequency is inversely related and the amplitude is also? I am having trouble reading the notes I took in class.

Wavelength and frequency are inversely related. The longer the wavelength, the lower the frequency. Amplitude is not necessarily related to either wavelength or frequency. Instead, wavelength deals with intensity. So you cannot say anything about amplitude based on whether the wavelength or frequency changes.

Page 45 of the course reader also gives a summary, explaining the inverse relationship between wavelength and frequency in regards to electrons being ejected and the number of photons present.

I thought that amplitude determines intensity? Or was that disproved by the photoelectric effect experiment?
