Light is a Wave, Light is Photons
If light acts like both a wave and a series of photons, are there certain instances where it is acting like one or the other, or both? Do we know or can we predict such instances?
Re: Light is a Wave, Light is Photons
Light can't simultaneously be a pure wave and photon therefore there are not any instances where it acts as both.

Re: Light is a Wave, Light is Photons
My next question would then be, what instances is light acting as a series of photons vs merely a wave?
Re: Light is a Wave, Light is Photons
When light undergoes reflection, refraction, and diffraction it acts as a wave. When it packages its energy in small quanta it acts as a series of photons.
