### Problem 1.23

Problem 1.23 gives the energy of gamma ray photons in kiloelectronvolts. Do we have to know the conversion between KeV and joules or do you guys think that energy will be given to us in J?

The conversion between KeV and Joules will be given either in the problem or on the conversion/formula sheet. We are not expected to memorize the conversion.

1 eV = 1.6022 x 10^-19 J
