Is 1 Angstrom referring to the radius or diameter of an atom?

Thank you!

Hey there Emma how are you.
So an Angstrom is a unit of measurement and doesn't refer to a single part of an atom. So 1 Angstrom could be the radius or diameter of an atom.
Hope this helps!! :)

1 Ångström is 10^-10 meters. Bond lengths are about 1 Ångström.

It can refer to either. The Angstrom is a unit of length.
