### Problem 1.9 6th Edition

Problem 1.9 in the 6th edition mentions:

A college student recently had a busy day. Each of the student’s activities on that day (reading, getting a dental x-ray, making popcorn in a microwave oven, and acquiring a suntan) involved radiation from a different part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Complete the following table and match each type of radiation to the appropriate event.

There is a table below, and I am having trouble figuring out how to solve the wavelength and the energy of photon with the given frequency 300 MHz. How would I solve those if the frequency isn't in the 10^14 HZ format?

I believe you can try converting MHz to Hz!

1 MHz = 1000000 Hz

you would begin by converting the megahertz to hertz by using the conversion factor that 1 MHz = 1,000,000 Hz then whether you're given energy, wavelength, or frequency you would use the equation speed of light = wavelength x frequency or energy = planck's constant x frequency.
