Does anyone know how to convert from keV to joules?

1 kiloelectronvolt (keV) = 1.60218 x 10^-16 joules (j). Simple multiply by the ratio and cancel out units properly to get the answer in joules.

The back of the textbook has a table labeled "RELATIONS BETWEEN UNITS"

It shows the relationship between 1 eV = 1.60218x10^-19

Keep in mind that 1 keV = 1,000 eV when converting!
