Electromagnetic Spectrum

Postby haleyervin7 » Thu Oct 11, 2018 11:36 am

Is it a good idea/necessary to memorize the electromagnetic spectrum with each type's wavelength range?

You should at least have a good idea of what the ranges are for each spectrum (visible light, uv, ir)

I believe it's important to know that visible light is in the range between 400-700 nanometers. I would also know that higher energy waves (gamma ray/x-ray/ultraviolet) have shorter wavelengths and higher frequencies. While lower energy waves (radio/microwave/infared) have longer wavelengths and lower frequencies.
