### Kinetic energy equation

I know that to solve for the kinetic energy of a photon the equation is Ek=(1/2)mv^2 but where do we find the values of the mass of the specific electron ?

The mass of an electron is 9.10938 × 10^-31 kilograms. This will probably be given on the constants page of the tests.

As far as I know, electrons have the same mass of 9.109 x 10^-31 kg.

Yeah don't worry too much about finding the mass of the electron specifically yourself. It should be on the formula card as it's a constant.

Yeah, Professor Lavelle said we would be given a sheet with all the constants so its not necessary to memorize them, but after using them over and over again it'll eventually stick to you.
