### problem 1. 9 sixth edition

Hello,

I'm having trouble finding the energy of the photon on the chart, the known info on the 3rd row. so I found the wavelength, but im having trouble converting 300MHz. How would I convert it to scientific notation because I tried it and the answer didnt reflect the one on the solution manual. please help, thank you

For the fourth row, you can use the equation of c=v * (wavelength) to find the value for frequency. Using that value of frequency, you can find the energy of the photon using E=hv. Depending on the value of the wavelength, you can then determine which type of electromagnetic radiation it is.
