How can light gain a mass when in motion, but has no mass when stationary?

light cannot exist in a stationary state and so there is no mass because it is not a possible situation

light cannot physically exist in a stationary state, so there cannot be a mass for it stationary

Light is not a stationary particle. Therefore, we do not assign a value to its mass.

Light cannot gain mass when it is stagnant because the particles are always in constant motion.
