1.9 6th Edition

Postby Dustin Shin 2I » Sun Oct 21, 2018 2:37 am

I figured out how to do the calculations for all of the missing information needed for the table. However I am confused as to how they filled out the activities for each individual section. I know the activities are listed in the problem, but is that something we should be looking up, common sense, or should know for the test? If the answer is the last option, then will we need to know other activities and their relative information?

To fill in the activities section for this question, you had to correspond each event with the type of wave it uses. So, for example, reading is visible light and suntan is UV. Then, you compare the wavelengths you calculated in nanometers and list the events from largest to shortest wavelength. For instance, the smallest wavelength calculated was 2.5 nm, and the smallest one listed as an event on the electromagnetic spectrum is dental x-ray.
