Can nothing be faster than the speed of light?

I don't believe so, nothing we know so far can travel faster than the speed of light. At least in the context of this course nothing travels faster than the speed of light.

No, I don't think anything is faster than the speed of light.

To add a note to the previous comments, it's beneficial to acknowledge that the formula "c=lambda*frequency" is only applicable to photons because only light can travel at that speed. You shouldn't apply that formula to particles that aren't photons.

For the contents of this class, nothing is faster than the speed of light so it's a good reference point to use when checking answers. If anything is going faster than 3*10^8, you should double check your work.

If the particle has mass, it canNOT be faster than the speed of light. I believe lavelle said that in lecture.

Only if the particle has mass, it cannot be faster than the speed of light

Nothing could be faster than the speed of light.

If a particle or object has mass, I don’t think it can be faster than the speed of light.

No, the speed of light is the ultimate speed limit of the universe

It is pretty cool to believe nothing is faster than the speed of light

Nothing is faster than the speed of light. There is a theory that only particles with a zero rest mass may travel at the speed of light.
