electromagnetic field- a field of force that consists of BOTH electric and magnetic components. Results from motion of electric charge and contains a definite amount of electromagnetic energy.
magnetic field- a region around a magnetic material or a moving electric charge within which the force of magnetism acts.

If i am not mistaken, the electric field no and magnetic field are perpendicular in a 3 dimensional space.

What is the significance of the electromagnetic field and magnetic field being perpendicular in that 3 dimensional space?
