Classical Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics

Postby Mulin_Li_2J » Sun Oct 06, 2019 11:36 pm

Classical mechanics describe flow of water as a continuous behavior, but quantum mechanics explains it with a small discrete unit. On the score of water flow, do those two mechanics models contradict or complement each other?

I would say these two models compliment each other. This is becasue in quantum mechanics the unit is so small to the point that it could only be possible to flow one molecule each time. While in classical mechanics, the descrete unit could be also well defined as a value even if water is continuously flowing (i.e. 5ml of water is added in per second.). Both of these mechanics therefore could be related to each other and shouldn't contradict each other.
