### 1A 3 Chemical Principle 7th edition

Could anyone explain that why decreasing frequency of light leads to the decreasing extent of change of electromagnetic radiation?

Decreasing frequency of light leads to less energy per photon, (E=hv). So I think that the extent of the change in the electrical field at a given point decreases because the energy of the light (electromagnetic radiation) has decreased. Or another way is that the electric field vector's height have decreased as a result of decreasing frequency because the wavelength has gotten longer.
