Wavelength is a measure of distance, so it measured in meters (usually smaller measurements of meters like nm)

### Re: SI units and wavelength

As others mentioned you'll almost always see wavelength measured in meters (m) since it's distance. However, it's usually an extremely small number, so I'd recommend knowing the different prefixes (nano, pico, etc) in case it's given like that.

Be careful if the question is asking/giving you the data in meters or nanometers because it can be used with both.

### Re: SI units and wavelength

one of the most common units of wavelength is the nanometer (nm) because much of the visible spectrum of light falls within the range of 10^-9 meters.

As people mentioned above, I also think you should always check the units very carefully in tests (whether it is m or nm, or any other units)!
