### Frequency, Wavelength, Amplitude, and Velocity

What is the relationship between frequency, wavelength, amplitude, and velocity (in terms of light, consider the speed of light)?

### Re: Frequency, Wavelength, Amplitude, and Velocity

Frequency is the amount of cycles per second while wavelength is the length of the wave. So, they have an inverted relationship. Amplitude is the height of the wave, so it is unrelated to frequency or wavelength. Velocity is the speed of a particle in m/s.

According to the photoelectric effect experiment, light can act as a wave.

Wavelength and frequency have an inverse relationship. Amplitude is the height of a wave. Velocity in terms of light is c, the speed of light.
c= λ(wavelength) multiplied by v(frequency).

### Re: Frequency, Wavelength, Amplitude, and Velocity

Velocity is a product of wavelength and frequency in terms of wavelength.
