The midterm is 2 hours long and the final is 3. Since discussions are only 50 minutes, I think they are altered to fit the allotted time to take the test during those weeks.

I second that. I think that midterms and finals will be outside of the classroom. For all students, our midterm will be on November 6th from 6-8 PM I believe.

I don't think midterms take place in discussion sections because the midterms are longer than 50 minutes. Only the tests are administered in the discussion sections.

I'm almost certain finals will not occur where our discussion happens, but the study list says the official location of the final is TBD.

Only tests 1 and 2 are administered in our discussion sessions. The midterm and final will not. The midterm is Wednesday November 6 6-8 pm and the final is Sunday December 8 11:30 am -2:30 pm.

The midterm and final are going to be outside of class hours. The midterm is scheduled for November 6 from 6-8 pm, and the final is on December 8 from 11:30am-2:30pm. I am not sure where the midterm will be, though.

Both the midterms and finals will be administered at a different time than lecture and discussion times. For example, the midterm is from 6PM - 8PM on Novemebr 6.

Only test 2 will be given in discussion. The midterm and final will be given outside of discussion at different locations and at different times.

I think the midterm is in the evening, lasting for 2 hours, so it is unlikely on a discussion session. For the final, it won't be in the lecture or the discussion.
