Memorizing Values for Tests

Do we need to memorize values for c (speed), Planck's constant, Rydberg's constant, etc for the test? If so, what value would we use for each?

I'm not quite sure if we need to know those values by heart in Chem14A (I don't think we do) but they are very useful to know for the future! Plank's constant is 6.626 x 10^-34 J.s^-1 where J = m^2s^-2kg. Rydberg's constant is 1.097 x 10^7 m^-1. The speed of light (c) is equal to 299,792,458 m.s^-1.

The values of c (speed), Planck's constant, and Rydberg's constant are on the formula sheet, which will be given to you for every exam.

The values will be provided for you on the formula sheet, so you don't have to memorize them. However, I would try to memorize ones that reoccur often like Planck's constant.
