So for this problem, I had deduced that C was the right answer because the other three options did not make sense, but I do not understand what "The extent of change in the electrical field at a given point" means. Could someone explain how this relates to the frequency of electromagnetic radiation?

C is correct because the electrical field corresponds to the amplitude of the wave. And as the frequency goes down, the waves broaden causing the slope of the waves to decrease. This will mean that the change in the electrical field will decrease.

This is all according to the solutions manual. Hope this helped!
