Constants and equations

Postby Cassandra_1K » Fri Oct 18, 2019 2:03 am

Are we meant to remember all the constants like for E=hv?

No, we would be giving an equations and constants sheet. It should be the first page of the test.

The TA's during a midterm will either hand a sheet with all equations or it will be included in the test so no, you should not remember them but it is a smart idea to recall what they are used for and changed in unit of measurement such as Hz=s and etc.

They will give us a sheet with the constants on them but I’d say it’s probably a good idea to start remembering them to get ahead.

I don't think that it would be required of us to have them memorized as the sheet provided during tests will have the necessary constants, but after doing enough problems, it should be burned into your memory. This would also make doing problems a bit faster as you wouldn't have to search through the list to find each constant.
