What units belong to each variable in p=mv?

momentum = mass x velocity has units of kg m/s = kg x m/s

Linear momentum is expressed as p=mass*velocity. Thus, the SI units should be kg*m/s

p is momentum

m is mass in kg

v is velocity in m/s

p is measured in kg * (m/s)
