All the formulas

Postby ShreyaKannan1B » Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:33 pm

Can someone put all the formulas that are related to each other in one post?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but...

c =
E(photon) = h
m* = E(photon) -
= h/p

c = lambda (v)

E = hv ---> E = hc / lambda

Hope this helps!

Will we ever use wavelength x frequency = velocity? or will it always be =c(speed of light)

Could you explain wavelength = h/p to me please?

That is de Broglie's wavelength equation, where he states that anything with a mass exhibits wavelike behavior. p is for momentum//p=(mass of object)x(velocity of object). Use this equation when asked to solve for the wavelength of a certain object and do not use it for light because light does not have a mass. This works for everything except light.
