### Waves

How long does an object's wavelength have to be to be considered to have wavelike properties?

### Re: Waves

I remember there being a specific number, and am tentative in saying 10^-15 m

### Re: Waves

As long as it's greater than 10^-15 m, then it's considered to have measurable wavelike properties.

### Re: Waves

All objects have wave-like properties to an extent, but waves with wavelengths larger than 10^-15m are observable, so objects with wavelengths that are larger than 10^-15m have observable wave-like properties. Objects with a tiny mass and fast speed (like electrons, protons, etc.) have observable wave-like properties.
