Webcam for midterm
Where does it say we need a webcam for the midterm and what can we used if we didn't buy a webcam?

Re: Webcam for midterm
I'm pretty sure Professor Lavelle sent out an email regarding the webcam and all of its nuances later in Week 2. Additionally, there's an entire page on Chemistry Community answering a ton of those questions. My TA told my session that a cell phone would be okay as well!

Re: Webcam for midterm
If you have some kind of phone or other device that you can get zoom on and can angle towards your workspace so the TA can see all of your papers/desk, that should work. I would also ask your TA if they would recommend any specific setup method, but you shouldn't need to go out and get a webcam if you don't already have one.

Hi! They want us to have an external webcam in order to see our workspace while we are testing. My TA said a cell phone connected to zoom would be sufficient!

Re: Webcam for midterm
A lot of people were saying that using your phone is okay! You just need to connect to Zoom on your phone as well as on your computer.

The webcam is so our TA can see us as we take the test. If you don't have a webcam you can use zoom on your phone to record you as you take the test.
