Can frequency be negative?

No, frequency can only have positive values because it measures the number of cycles per second.

As stated above, frequency can not be negative. This means wavelength can't either since they are inversely related by the equation c = wavelength * frequency.

Frequency cannot be negative because it measure cycles per second.
