Cell Diagrams

When writing cell diagrams, do you have to include the salts or the spectator ions that don't take part in the reaction? (spectator ions such as K+, Cl-, SO42-) Also, how do you identity spectator ions in a reaction?

No, it those only involved as a bridge or not participate into the reaction then do not include them
