Faraday's Constant!

Postby Nadine_El Fawal_3M » Fri Feb 10, 2017 2:39 pm

The course reader gives a value of 96,485 C/mol for Faraday's constant, while the formula sheet gives it as 96,4853 C/mol.
This messes up all the Nernst Equation calculations by a decimal point and affects its accuracy to an extent.
which one is correct and which one do we use?

I believe the correct value is 96,485.3... C/mol.

On the midterm I would use whatever's on the formula sheet.
