2016 Practice Final Q3 Part C

I'm confused as to where the the Br minus came from can someone explain this to me?

It is the electrolyte/counter ion. One cannot have only Ag+ in solution. There must be anions. As Ag+ form at the anode side, Br- diffuse through the salt bridge from the cathode to the anode.
