In homework problem 14.15c) the cell diagram is
Cd (s)|Cd(OH)2 (s)|KOH (aq) || Ni(OH)3 (s)|Ni(OH)2 (s)|Ni(s)
- Is it correct if I just write OH- instead of KOH?
- Does the electrode have to be Ni? Can you use Pt (s) here?
