Inert Electrodes

Postby Kathleen Vidanes 1E » Sun Mar 18, 2018 12:27 am

When would we know to use Pt(s) vs. C(gr) in a galvanic cell?

I think that you can use either one because both serve the same purpose.

In this class, Pt(s) seems to be chosen as the inert electrode more than C(gr), though either can be used.
