Gibbs free energy J/mol

Postby Jordan_Wesson_2J » Tue Feb 26, 2019 6:30 pm

Why is the mol included in the units if the equation for DeltaG=-nFEcell?
Shouldn’t the moles cancel out?

Unless the reaction specifically states for 1 mole of formation/combustion,
to my understanding, G is either in J or kJ
