How do I know the strength of reducing power and oxidizing power using standard reduction potential?

The more positive the reduction potential, the stronger the oxidizing power and the weaker the reducing power. Just think reduction potential as measuring a compound's tendency to be reduced. A more positive reduction potential means that itself is more easily reduced than oxidized.

E is a measure of how easily something is reduced. So if the value is very high (positive), it means that it is a good oxidizing agent because it is reduced with little effort and the electron it loses can be used to oxidize something else. If it is very negative, it is a good reducing agent because it is oxidized with little effort and can better facilitate a reduction reaction.
