Changing E˚ values

Postby bonnie_schmitz_1F » Sat Mar 16, 2019 11:17 am

In problem 6L.3 c), there are two moles of Ce4+ + 1e- --> Ce3+ however the E˚ value does not change. Do E˚ values ever change with the number of moles increases?

NO! E knot values can only change when you inverse the reaction. If you have to multiple to get the electrons to cancel out, the E knot values remain the same.
