hi so for 14.5d, the answer key says that the cell is Cd(s)|Cd(OH)2(s)|KOH(aq) || Ni(OH)3(s) | Ni(OH)2(s) | Ni (s)
i understand how to get the half reactions but i don't understand where KOH came from (i would understand it if it were OH but not KOH). also for the second half of it, how come there is one bracket between Ni(OH)3(s) | Ni(OH)2(s) when they are both solids? shouldn't it be a comma

thanks
