What exactly is voltage?

Voltage is the amount of energy being produced by the electrodes. It is the potential difference between two electrodes.

Voltage is the potential difference between the two electrodes and it is measured to determine if a redox reaction will occur.
Also, voltage is an intensive property meaning that if a reaction is multiplied by a coefficient, the cell potential is not affected.

Voltage is what drives current and it is the result of the potential difference between two electrodes.

Voltage is the amount of energy to the electric charge, and one volt is equal to one joule of energy for each coulomb of charge
