6M.7

So it says to order the species in order of least reducing agent to most reducing agent. I know that the more negative the redox potential , the more reducing agent it is. However in the appendix there are multiple eqtns for each species. How do I know which one to use? For example for Cu there is an eqtn with Cu/Cu2+ and there's also one with Cu/Cu+. How do I know whether to use the Cu2+ or the Cu+?

It depends on the specifics of the problem; for this specific one, it doesn't seem that it should matter which Cu reaction you choose
