Is the E of galvanic cells always positive?

The cell potential of a galvanic cell is always positive

yes, for galvanic cells, which have to be spontaneous in order for it to run, E has to be positive

So essentially there are 2 sets of correlations, if that's a way to put it, but you can remember it as the following.

Galvanic Cell = -$\Delta G$ = Spontaneous = + E knot = K > 1

Electrolytic Cell = $\Delta G$ = non spontaneous = - E knot = K < 1

Yes! Galvanic cells are spontaneous and therefore, the E must be positive.

Galvanic cells are spontaneous, so E has to be positive.

Yes, it is. Because it is spontaneous, so delta G is negative for it.
