How do you find the n in that equation?

Look at the half reactions for full reaction. See how many electrons are transferred in this reaction. If reduction reaction has 2 electrons gained but oxidation reaction has 3 electrons lost, n=6 (because you have to balance electrons when you combine them). If both reduction and oxidation reaction involves 2 electrons, n=2.
