Inert Metals

Postby briannam_1F » Thu Mar 05, 2020 2:31 pm

Can someone specify when one should use Pt(s) or C(gr) as our inert metal. Or should we just always assume that we should use Pt(s)?

I think we could use either, but Pt(s) is more commonly used

I would use Pt(s) as it is more common.

The textbook almost always uses Pt(s), but I'm quite sure that you could use either with equal success.

Platinum is better as it is best as an electrode.
